Why would the Department of Public Health not be involved in a decision that impacts Patent Safety?

We at the National Board of Medical Device Representatives question if The Joint Commission, DNV or any state Public Health official were involved in the creation of this guideline/standard. Letters have gone out asking this question and we will update with the response. When looking at the 47 Voting members it appears to be industry to include 3Vendor Credentialing companies.
